In my spare time, I provide art direction from concept to completion, collaborating with artists to shape ideas and refine each piece through to the final illustration. I balance feedback from a small team with my own direction and the artist’s individual style to create cohesive, polished results.
This Revenant poster turned out beautifully. I started by requesting the artist contain the composition to a shape, which gave an already awesome result. A few character additions and reference swap requests in the pencil process allowed us to confidently move into the color rough and final. I had recommended moving the border up past the main character's head, which allowed for more landscape.
